Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has expressed his delight at the form of his summer signings following their 4-2 win over Reading.
The Italian was speaking after witnessing 35 million pounds signing Eden Hazard notch three assists with goals from Frank Lampard, Gary Cahill, Fernando Torres and Branislav Ivanovic helping the Blues to come from 2-1 down against the Premier League new-boys.
Hazard's superb showing takes his assists tally for the season up to five, in what has been a magnificent start for the highly rated 21-year-old.
Brazilian midfielder Oscar has made two appearances from the substitutes bench and Di Matteo was quick to stress his pleasure at how the new recruits have adapted to life in the Premier League, and also said he was happy that established players such as Ivanovic were performing well.
He told reporters: "The new signings have certainly impressed and also the players we already had here were fantastic and I'm very pleased with the performance tonight.
